  We had an absolutely fantastic experience at The Premier in Barnsley, and a huge part of that was down to Ryan and his incredible team. From the moment we arrived, Ryan went above and beyond to make us feel genuinely welcome. His approach to customer service wasn’t just professional — it was warm, attentive, and completely genuine. Ryan has a real talent for reading the room and anticipating what guests need before they even have to ask. He checked in with us at just the right times, made sure everything was running smoothly, and handled every request with ease and a positive attitude. Nothing felt like too much trouble, and that level of care made a big difference to our overall experience. What really stood out was how well he worked with his team. You could clearly see that everyone was on the same page — supportive, efficient, and committed to creating a great atmosphere. Ryan leads by example, and it shows. The team worked seamlessly together, making sure we were looked after from start to finish. It’s rare to come across service that feels this personal and well-coordinated. Ryan didn’t just do his job — he made sure we had a memorable time. We left feeling valued as customers, and that’s something you don’t forget. Massive thank you to Ryan and the team — we’ll definitely be back!

  Good access to main roads. Food was okay. Room had good space. Not worth getting the food package. Very slow service across the hotel from reception to the bar/ food area. Stayed for 2 nights and waited half an hour to order food and another half hour to get a starter. This might be key to keeping people ordering drinks. Even though several people are on shift only one seems to be actually working.
